| This sack back gown
offers manageable possibilities for reproducing. The fabric, a
watered silk, is known today as a moiré taffeta and can be found in
home decorating fabric stores in a rayon and cotton blend. The
key is the rayon which will give it sheen and draping qualities. This
weight and not the moiré's found in bridal departments replicates silk
beautifully.
